Think of your intuition as that one quiet friend in a group—wise, steady, often overlooked because they don’t shout to be heard. They wait until the noise settles. And when you finally pause and lean in, they always seem to say exactly what you need.
That’s what tuning into your intuition feels like. It’s not dramatic. It’s not always logical. But it’s deeply true.
In somatic therapy, we learn that intuition often speaks through the body. It may show up as a flutter in your chest, a heaviness in your stomach, or a sense of ease when something clicks. It’s a language of sensations, not words. And while the mind may be busy analyzing or doubting, the body already knows.
I invite you to slow down and gently ask yourself:
What is my intuition whispering to me today?
It might be nudging you to rest, to call someone, to say no, to try something new—or to let something go. Often, we don’t need more information; we need more trust in our inner guidance system. And the more you listen, the louder that quiet friend becomes.
Here’s an analogy: think of yourself as a radio with many channels. Your intuition is that one station is playing peaceful, clear music—but if you’re surrounded by static and blaring ads (aka stress, fear, external pressure), you’ll miss the signal. The key is to tune in.
Here are three journal prompts to help you connect with that station today:
🔸 What sensations am I noticing in my body when I think about a decision I’m facing?
🔸 When have I followed my intuition in the past, and what happened as a result?
🔸 What is one small, safe step I can take today to honour a nudge I’ve been feeling inside?
Tuning into your intuition doesn’t mean you’ll always have certainty. But it does mean you’ll be moving in alignment with yourself—one breath, one small truth at a time.
Let today be about reconnecting with your own quiet wisdom. It’s already inside you, waiting patiently. All you have to do is listen.
